Why It Works from Miami
Direct flights from MIA reach Liberia (LIR) and San José (SJO) in three to four hours. Liberia is the better gateway for Papagayo, Nosara, and Santa Teresa; San José is closer to the central valley and the Osa Peninsula. A week is the right unit, ten nights if you want to combine a coast and a cloud forest.
Where to Stay
